Tour Plan
You will be greeted by a Trimagine Travel representative at the Bandaranayake International Airport and transferred to Negombo where you will check into your hotel. You can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax and unwind. In the evening you can enjoy a stroll through the streets of Negombo and enjoy the many restaurants and bars.
Boat ride in the Muthurajawela Wet Lands.
After breakfast at the hotel enjoy a boat ride through the Muthurajawela Marsh. The Negombo lagoon houses one of the most bio diverse flora and fauna sanctuaries. The Muthurajawela Marsh is said to be the islands largest peat bog which has nearly 200 species of flora, over 200 species of fauna and over 100 species of birds. Grab your camera and click away at water birds, endemic and migratory birds, water monitors, lizards, toque macaque monkeys and crocodiles. If you are lucky you may see the endangered Slender Loris. Afterwards enjoy a city tour of Negombo and the surrounding lagoon.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Elephant Ride in Habarana.
After breakfast you will set off to the city of Dambulla located in the Cultural Triangle. On the way visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which looks after a large number of Elephants. The main attractions are the feeding and bathing of the elephants. Check into your hotel and relax. In the evening enjoy an elephant ride.
Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Village Safari Tour, Spice Garden Visit.
In the morning you will visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 5th century B.C this 8th wonder of the world displays landscaped gardens, beautiful water gardens, moats and ramparts, twisted steps and stairways and remnants of the Kings palace on top of the rock. After exploring the depths of Sigiriya enjoy a traditional village tour which will include; Bullock Cart & Canoe Rides and In-House Village Cookery Lesson. Afterwards leave for Kandy; on the way you will visit a traditional spice garden in Matale.
City Tour, Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, Visit the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, Traditional Cultural Dance.
After breakfast enjoy a city tour of the hill country capital and visit the Peradeniya botanical gardens. In the evening enjoy a visit to the Sacred Temple of the Tooth followed by a viewing of a traditional cultural dance performance.
Scenic Train ride to Naanu Oya.
After breakfast, get ready to leave for the main train station, where you will take a scenic train ride to Nuwara Eliya. Standing 2000m above the sea level, Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as the “Little England” of Sri Lanka is the heart of the tea industry which began its journey to produce the green gold of the country after the British influence in the colonial era. You will see many bungalows, houses and hotels with a touch of British taste. A light jumper would be recommended as it can get cold in the nights.
Horton Plains Excursion.
Enjoy a trek through the Horton Plains National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This high altitude plateau is stretched out in grassland with intervals of forests. It is home to sambar, deer the occasional leopard and birds. It is an excellent excursion for nature lovers, hikers and bird watchers. The most thrilling attraction is the “World’s End” where the earth drops south plummeting into a misty descent of nearly 1000m. The misty view creates and infinite drop, but on a clear day it is a magnificent sight.
White Water Rafting.
After breakfast, head to Kitulgala where the whole family can enjoy some white water rafting. Kitulgala is situated near the banks of Kelani River where the award winning movie “ Bridge Over River Kwai” was filmed. The Kelani River running alongside the surrounding rain forest area is the base for white water rafting in Sri Lanka. It is an extremely popular destination amongst tourists and locals alike. This location is ideal for other adventure sports such as flat water rafting, river expeditions, water fall abseiling, rainforest trekking, waterfall trekking, cycling, walking trails and bird watching. Once you have enjoyed your adventure return to Nuwara Eliya.
Camping
After breakfast prepare to transfer to your camp site in the Yala National Park. The second largest and most visited national park in Sri Lanka is spread out over the Southern & Uva Province. Yala is reputed to have the highest density of leopards within a single area. Consisting of 215 bird species it is one of the 76 Important Bird Areas in Sri Lanka. Home to a wide variety of wild animals and flora and fauna, it is also an important conservation of Sri Lankan Elephants and aquatic birds. Enjoy a BBQ dinner at your camp site.
Jungle Safari, Camping.
Explore the Yala National park today. You can enjoy a full day jungle safari in the park which will give you the best opportunity to spot wild life.
Galle Fort Tour
After breakfast, transfer to Galle, the southern capital of Sri Lanka and enjoy a tour of the famous Galle fort. Once a famous bustling harbor attracting foreign merchants from around the world, this fortified city celebrates the Portuguese, Dutch and British influences. Now a town emanating old world charm, the beauty of Galle Fort is haunted by its colonial influences. Dutch colonial villas and buildings, churches, museums, antique shops, lighthouse, boutique hotels and restaurants are some attractions within the fort.
Whale Watching, Madhu River Safari.
Leave early morning to Mirissa (30 mins from Galle) to see the giant mammals of the sea, quietly dwell under the blue waves (Season- Dec/April) . Go out into sea for about 3-4 hours and try your luck and spot the blue whales and sperm whales at one of the best spots in the world to see whales. The rest of the day you can relax by the beach in Galle.
Relax on beach, Water Sports.
Bentota beach is a hot spot for snorkeling, fishing, scuba diving, sailing, wind surfing and many more exciting water sports. Keep an eye out for sea turtles that pad about the shore. Well known for luxurious accommodation and Bentota Beach Hotel which was built on the site of an Old Portuguese Fort.
Today you can enjoy a boat ride along Madhu River, which is home to many aquatic plants and animals. In the evening you can visit a turtle hatchery.

Check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight.

- This is a Moderate Tour: We rate fitness level 3 out of 5 A good level of fitness and mobility is required. You should be able to walk up and down stairs, get on and off the coach and able to walk reasonable distances of approximately 2 kilometres per day or more with ease. Please let our local booking agent know if you have any physical ailments to determine your suitability.

Once booking details submitted by you, we will go ahead with the booking Process. At this stage we require a 20% payment. A booking confirmation will reach you after 48 hours of making the payment. The balance 80% of the payment is required, 30 days prior to the tour start date. Then you may go ahead with applying for Visa.
